Recapturing Home Turf

With all-natural ingredients, Hansen’s craft soda has been a pioneer in its category for more than 40 years. But sales were drastically slipping in a region they wanted to protect. Our Objective: Help the brand reclaim their Southern California stronghold by showing off Hansen’s delicious originality and bold flavor.

This Is What Original Tastes Like

Using Venice Beach walls to showcase the world’s top street art, we developed an experiential event that brought together artists, musicians and other adventure seekers to celebrate originality and original tastes. The one-night event featured an insider party at Hansen’s House, along with pedicabs that transported partygoers to lounges set up throughout Mar Vista where five premier street artists painted live murals that remained indefinitely on the neighborhood’s artwalk.

Outdoor supported the experiential aspect of the campaign, reintroducing the brand in full color to LA’s original tastemakers.

The Results

Our goal was to recapture Hansen’s SoCal audience in an authentic, relatable way. By enabling the power of art in communities where it doesn’t exist and embodying the brand’s creative, pioneering and inclusive personality, we helped Hansen’s reignite their core values.
